Al Bundy is a middle-aged shoe salesman whose working-class life rarely goes the way he wants. At home, his wife Peggy expects more than he can give, while their children bring their own problems and frustrations into the mix. Together, the Bundys stumble through the highs and lows of ordinary family life, shaped by bad luck, bad attitudes, and constant dysfunction.
