After his plans to leave Toledo fall apart, disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin remains stuck at Whitlock High, teaching advanced placement biology for the well-meaning Principal Durbin. Still more interested in settling scores than in lesson plans, Jack continues to use his students as part of his schemes to get back at the people he believes have wronged him.
