Native American teenager Manu spends the summer with his grandfather in the high desert mountains, far from the life he knows. As a terrifying doom draws closer, Manu is forced to confront a destiny he does not yet understand. To protect the people he loves, he must accept an extraordinary responsibility that could determine whether he and his family are able to survive and thrive.
