Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and the company of dwarves press on after escaping the Misty Mountains, determined to reclaim the Lonely Mountain, the dwarves’ homeland. With Bilbo now carrying the One Ring, their quest leads them closer to the dragon Smaug, who holds the mountain and the treasure the dwarves seek to take back.
