Bumbling schoolteacher William Potts is discovered to be the double of a captured German spy and general. British Intelligence sends him into Germany to impersonate the man and obtain plans for a new secret weapon. Out of his depth in a Hitler Youth school, Potts tries to keep up the disguise while his presence creates confusion, chaos and comic trouble.
