Buckaroo Banzai is an adventurer, brain surgeon, and rock musician whose talents extend far beyond the stage and the operating room. With his crime-fighting team, the Hong Kong Cavaliers, he faces a threat from evil alien invaders arriving from the eighth dimension. As the invaders set their sights on conquering Earth, Buckaroo and his team work to stop them.
