A 17-year-old boy forms a bond with a shelter dog while in juvenile detention, only to lose track of the animal after it is taken away. Determined to find the therapy dog that helped him, he escapes from juvie and sets out across Cantabria. His older brother joins him along the way, and the search becomes a chance to reconnect with both his brother and his grandmother.
