After surviving the Woodsboro murders, Sidney Prescott and the other survivors try to build new lives at Windsor College in Ohio. As Sidney adjusts to college life, a figure wearing the Ghostface costume appears and begins a new string of killings on campus. Forced back into fear, the survivors must confront the return of a nightmare they thought they had left behind.
