While visiting Verona, American traveler Sophie discovers an old unanswered letter left for Juliet, one of the many notes seeking love advice in the famous courtyard. After she writes back, the woman who sent it arrives with her irritable grandson, and Sophie joins them on a search for the long-lost love named in the letter as a new romance begins to stir.
