Toronto jazz saxophonist Dezi Williams has pulled away from his band and tries to live quietly, spending his days in solitude as an instrument repair technician. But his isolation is unsettled by memories of a stormy romance with a fellow contemporary jazz musician, a growing pain in his jaw, and the presence of an intrusive new neighbour.
