An author recalls a frightening episode from his childhood in a small town in the 1960s. On Halloween night in 1962, young Frank is locked inside a school closet, where he sees the ghost of a little girl and the man who murdered her years earlier. After witnessing the terrifying scene, Frank is left haunted by what he has seen and by the shadow of a crime from the past.
