In 1862 Korea, during the late Joseon dynasty, an unjust nobility holds power over the land. Against this rule, a band of fighters known as Kundo comes together as a militia and turns against the authorities who uphold it. This period action film follows their resistance as they rise to challenge a harsh and unequal order.
