A desperately single bookseller with dreams of becoming a writer feels stuck between her fantasy world and the messy reality of her love life. Hoping to get more out of life, she takes up a writing residency, where she is pushed to face her ambitions and finds herself caught in romantic entanglements that feel as if they could have come straight from the pages of a Jane Austen novel.
