After his mother dies by suicide, Tom Redding learns he has a long-lost sister who is unable to move or speak. Hoping to understand and document her condition, he brings her to their late mother’s isolated home. As the two remain there, Tom’s plans begin to unravel when a supernatural evil closes in, pushing him toward the edge of madness.
