Fourteen-year-old genius Eli has his sights set on Harvard, but when the school rejects him, he lands instead at Whittman U, an Ivy League wannabe far below his expectations. There he meets Leo, a 41-year-old gambler who has stepped away from regular life to enroll in college. As the unlikely classmates become friends, Leo introduces Eli to every bad habit he knows.
