Garfield is a fat, lazy cat with a love of lasagna and a comfortable life with his owner, Jon Arbuckle. But when Jon tries to impress Liz, a veterinarian and his old high-school crush, he adopts a dog named Odie and brings him home. Garfield suddenly has competition he never wanted, and when Odie is abducted, the pampered cat must set out to find and rescue him.
