Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is vacationing in Egypt aboard a glamorous river steamer on the Nile when a young heiress is murdered. What begins as a picture-perfect honeymoon for an idyllic couple turns tragic, forcing Poirot to set aside his holiday and investigate a frightening case among the passengers as the search for the killer begins.
