As an ever-growing epidemic of the dead rising as zombies spreads, four people search for a place to hide: two Philadelphia SWAT team members, a traffic reporter, and his girlfriend, a television executive. Their flight leads them to a secluded shopping mall, where they try to take refuge from the escalating threat outside.
