Junkyard tycoon Harry Brock arrives in Washington, D.C., intent on lobbying for legislation that will serve his interests and buying influence where he can. With him is Billie Dawn, his ex-showgirl mistress, whose blunt manner and lack of polish make him worry she will not fit in among the capital’s high society. To refine her behavior, Harry hires a reporter to teach her etiquette, but Billie begins learning far more than he expected.
