An insecure but deeply committed ballerina wins the lead role she has always dreamed of in a production of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. As she pushes herself to meet the demands of the part, the pressure of the role begins to overwhelm her, and her struggle to hold on to her sanity grows more intense as the line between reality and illusion starts to blur.
