A former U.S. marshal begins to suspect something is deeply wrong when he learns that the surviving members of his old unit are all experiencing the same symptoms at the same time. As the unsettling pattern becomes harder to dismiss, he is drawn back toward the past and forced to consider whether a larger conspiracy is behind what is happening.
