College professor Michael Faraday is still shaken by his wife’s accidental death during a botched FBI operation, leaving him wary and increasingly paranoid. When a seemingly all-American couple moves in next door, their friendly appearance does little to ease his suspicions. As Michael watches them more closely, he becomes convinced his new neighbors are hiding secrets that could prove deadly.
