In 1973, 15-year-old William Miller turns his love of music and dream of becoming a rock journalist into an unexpected opportunity: an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine. Sent to interview the up-and-coming rock band Stillwater, William joins them on the road, experiencing the world of a concert tour while trying to capture the story behind the music.
