After they witness a strange event they cannot easily explain, a young couple decides to look for answers on their own terms. Their search leads them to plan a camping trip outside Area 51, a place tied to the questions now consuming them. As they leave familiar ground behind, the trip becomes a tense attempt to understand what they saw and why it happened.
